Also even if Blaine had held his breath for more than the 9 minutes of the current record he would be invalidated by the fact that he was breathing oxygen not air. The record for holding one's breath when breathing oxygen is close to 15 minutes.

When I was young I was smoking dope and took a huge hit. I forgot what I was doing and held it for 2 hours.
