In fact it is preferable to have no debts, but if nobody did things that he can't afford right now to gain more in some time, nothing much would happen in economy.

And yes uni fees do suck. But the choice is yours. In Germany you can study at some universities withoot paying....feel free to come over.

Do you have to show a certain intellectual skill to obtain free Uni tuition? Or can anybody apply?

The one I plan to go costs 14 000 pounds a year if you're not from EU. If you are goood on a entry exam you can get some discount though 😵

Anybody can apply, but of course your exams have to be compatible. However be prepared to follow the lectures in German...
