So detailed, I feel like I was there with you!

Just wondering, are you carrying around a lap top with WIFI? How are you posting?
Could you do it over for him and put in the punctuation, and make some paragraphs. That hurts my eyes looking at it, little on bothering to read it.

Thanks in advance. 😉

no, no laptop... no wifi places to use it and it would be a pain to travel with. i'm in an internet cafe (which i've been in a lot in the last 2 days)... uploading photos now from xmas day and the tea plantation now so you'll be able to see those.

There are islands in the rivers of Brazil in which Majuli would be just a small island in a small lake in those river islands.

Apart from Majuli being an island nirvana...it is also the worlds largest river island wifi 'hot spot' ...it's like one giant starbucks with folk lazing around everywhere in a sort of internet connected laptop heaven.. tis a fact, really 😀

You know all that sh-tuff that seems so sh-tuffy now? That's yer awesome stories for later. My Dec. 26th involved getting into a drunken shouting match with my longtime partner's sister who made an unwarranted and unacceptable racial slur. I started shouting at everyone, and then left. I spent the night of the 26th in a phone booth at a bus station because the phone booth warmed up better than the surrounding environs. I now have a wicked bad respiratory infection, and several failed attempts to find an apartment. So my now ex-girlfriend keeps crying about how this is all so difficult and I literally can't get out - luckily we have two bedrooms. So see? The worst situations are also better stories - you never see a movie where everything is totally going according to plan and then it ends with everything happening the way it should.

I've heard elephants of the evening are expensive. So maybe it worked out better? ;D

Send your ex-girlfriend a huge bunch of flowers and a grovelling apology. It'll be worth it just to be babied over your cold. 🙂

Getting babied anyway - weirdest breakup ever. That could be down to our age and experience - we may not learn all of the lessons we should along the way, but some of it must stick. Either of us making this hard for the other would make it hard for themselves. We've been together so long that it's more like a divorce than a break up. We were in our mid-twenties when we got together, we are both in our mid-to-almost-could-be-called late thirties now.

Edit - took out an erroneous 'w'.

Edit 2 - And it's not a cold, I tried to pretend it was but then my damn fever was making me slightly delusional. Then I went to the doctor. I hate doctors.
