Interesting!
So detailed, I feel like I was there with you!
Just wondering, are you carrying around a lap top with WIFI? How are you posting?
Thanks in advance. 😉

Originally posted by trev33You know all that sh-tuff that seems so sh-tuffy now? That's yer awesome stories for later. My Dec. 26th involved getting into a drunken shouting match with my longtime partner's sister who made an unwarranted and unacceptable racial slur. I started shouting at everyone, and then left. I spent the night of the 26th in a phone booth at a bus station because the phone booth warmed up better than the surrounding environs. I now have a wicked bad respiratory infection, and several failed attempts to find an apartment. So my now ex-girlfriend keeps crying about how this is all so difficult and I literally can't get out - luckily we have two bedrooms. So see? The worst situations are also better stories - you never see a movie where everything is totally going according to plan and then it ends with everything happening the way it should.
so after spending xmas on the worlds largest river island (majuli - which was bliss) i decided to leave jorhat (the 'city' you go to to reach the island) on the 27th to go to kazaringa (spelling is probaby wrong but it's a national park that has the most amount of one horned rhrinos in the world - they have two horned rhrinos?), as i left the place i was stay ...[text shortened]... et... at a cost of $1 more than the dive i stayed in at the national park.
I've heard elephants of the evening are expensive. So maybe it worked out better? ;D

That could be down to our age and experience - we may not learn all of the lessons we should along the way, but some of it must stick. Either of us making this hard for the other would make it hard for themselves. We've been together so long that it's more like a divorce than a break up. We were in our mid-twenties when we got together, we are both in our mid-to-almost-could-be-called late thirties now.
Send your ex-girlfriend a huge bunch of flowers and a grovelling apology. It'll be worth it just to be babied over your cold. 🙂
Edit - took out an erroneous 'w'.
Edit 2 - And it's not a cold, I tried to pretend it was but then my damn fever was making me slightly delusional. Then I went to the doctor. I hate doctors.
