Do you not drink iced tea in summer? It's wonderful on a hot day.

Or is that mainly a US thing?

They refer to Bud as "The King of Beers", more like an Earl or Lady I think. "😉

This looks awesome! I printed out that page and will have to try it out. I'm always good for something new.

The pork chops listed after the pierogi sounds good too. They said serving these two together is not usually done in Poland, but it sounds good to me.

An easy way to make iced tea that is done a lot in my area is to take a clear gallon jar, fill it with water, and put in 4 or 5 regular tea bags, regular black tea or flavored. Fit the lid over the tea bag threads so that the bags don't float to the bottom and place the whole thing outside where it will catch the sun all day. Keep it out most of the day (the sun is really penetrating here and does not need to be out more than a few hours, but in UK it might have to stay outside all day), and when you bring it in (the tea should be medium dark and the jar quite warm), take the bags out and pop the jar into the fridge until chilled, then serve over ice (or not, if the tea is cold enough). This is fabulous after just coming in after working outside in the sun.

The sun heats up the water inside the jar just enough to brew the tea (over several hours... like I said, it is common here, but the sun is quite penetrating and direct here, I'm not sure of the results in some place like the UK). On a hot day the jar can get very warm, it's best to use one with a handle or just pick it up by the lid, but it's heavy, so be careful. Pot holders or a towel is not out of the question.

That's fantastic about the trains. I find history fun, but I'd not heard that before.
