actually, he first didn't post "kittens" in it, and after Nyxie replied, he edited it, even posted that he had added "kittens". Maybe first read the whole thread before you post something.

IIRC, one particular ISP would reject an application from anyone who was from Scunthorpe!

I've had problems referring to their football team in the past at some places. But swanker is of course acceptable on Countdown. Possibly the one time they've given the contestants a word.

Incidentantally, as it accepts the posts, just saying deemed inappropriate that surely just means that it'll alert the mods, who'll find nothing wrong with the post.

That's VERY funny to me, since there were NO cuss words, or words that could be viewed as naughty, in my entire post. Not ONE. Yet I've read posts in these f ...[text shortened]... y flower, children, clouds, puppies, and kittens.

There. Now it's appropriate for ALL ages.

I was going to say that, but then I decided it would be too preachy.

Some strange jiggery pokery going on in here.

Let's invite the mods to a swanky soiree with earl grey tea, clotted cream and jam scones and lots of moist muffin cakes. Then we can get down to the bottom of it.

One lump or two?

Would it be possible to implement some kind of appeal system for rejected posts?
The author of a rejected post or new thread should be able to ask the mods for information on exactly what elicited the rejection.
They would then be able to either edit the post or accept the ban in they agree with the mods reasons, or argue their case if they feel otherwise.
Perhaps the mods could elect a 'supreme judge' amongst themselves to adjudicate such appeals.
