My elder son's journey would be the same as me as far as the Jakarta. Then a 7-hour flight to Tokyo airport and an hour on the train into the city. Then two hours on the Shinkansen train and a half-hour taxi ride.

My younger son is a 20 minute drive from the hospital where he was born. It'd be a tad quicker on a motorbike.

the house i was born in was knocked down 30 years back and is now part of Middlesbroughs uni complex its a 10 min urban drive to get there,
