CDs, computer games...this is obviously your Club Med type desert island. Anyway, I can't come up with 10 but the following are ones I liked:
Lords of the Realm II. Pretty simple (feed your people, annihilateyour enemies) but strangely addictive. The insults and grumbling soldiers are great.
Shogun: Total War. Recaptures Japan's century of civil war.
Hogs of War. A tongue in cheek turn-based game. Pigs dressed in World War II outfits blasting each other with pistols, rifles, bazookas and rocket launchers. The voice of Rick Mayall doing all the characters made this worth the $20.
And another game, called Luxor or something like that, that I had on my er...cough... Commodore 64. You ride your horse all over this landscape recruiting allies and heading north to fight the Ice Queen. Unfortunately the space bar on my keyboard died before I made it there and by that stage no one was selling replacements (or even acknowledging that C64 had ever existed_).

Does anybody remember the Bruce Lee game for the Atari 800xl - that was a masterpiece and the most playable and fun game I've ever laid my hands on!
For PC, would have to be the Gabriel Knight trilogy of adventures, each one is so well written.
I play Ratchet and Clank a lot on my sister's PS2!

Well I'm not sure if I can make ten, really. Theres very few games that afterwards I've thought WOW. that was beautiful.
But, at number one if I could play it again with the eye's I had when it came out (and actually finish it rather than forgetting about it and coming back to it about 6 months later)
Is, Metal Gear Solid.
For the time and with the machine they had this game was a masterpiece. (I'm not going to go into the second one)
Half-life is another that I'd love to play again.
Deus Ex. (truely inspired)
Call of Duty was a good game.
Civ 1 and 2
Theres probably others but they escape me at the momont.
Jim.
