Speaking of which, the first time I read Dune was as a teenager in the late 1970s, over five nights from midnight to 4AM, about 100 pages per session, with cinnamon in my iced tea and saltine crackers on the side.

That's right. Crickets in southeast Asia fight bare-legged.

The bats are just for show, and are often made by cricket skateboard manufacturers.
