Desert Island Vegetable Patch

Desert Island Vegetable Patch

General

There are fruit and cassava in the forest and wild rice and wild potatoes are available already, as well as birds and fish.

What three food items would you grow on your desert island vegetable patch [assuming that weather and soil type were not limiting factors]?

Tomatoes for their versatility. (assuming not one of the fruit available)
Red onions for salads and cooking..
Broccoli or Brussel Sprouts (still mulling that over) for greenery.

Of course in an ideal situation I would grow beer, cheese and pickled onions. 😉
