Is this a one off and something unique to this woman?
I often drink 2 litres of water, followed by the same a few hours later.
I suppose that would explain my swollen brain.
But seriously (calling all medics) is this a danger to us all, and our brains, if we consume water in litres in hours; or is this something individually wrong with the deceased person?

Why do you drink 2 liters in an hour, thirsty?

I think this might have been the result of one or two unfortunate circumstances coming together.
Go in peace my son, and as they say "calm down".
I drink about 2 liters a day in the winter and 3 in the summer.
The problem, I think, with excessive water intake during dieting, is that it flushes important electrolytes and minerals from your system. It also "dilutes" your blood much the same way that alcohol does. I've heard of this happening before.

You're safe.
