Then again if we manage to ignore the bad things then we run the risk of ignoring the good things, too, and life can reach a point of neutrality, which is kind of boring, really. From a personal perspective, I have an underlying sense that my life is far better than I realize most of the time, but that's about as far as I've got with it...And as for winning and losing, I try to do the former but don't lose any sleep over the latter; we have to play with the assumption that we ain't going to win all the time. That would get boring, too.
I have lots of complaints, but they pale to the wonderful.
Nature is wonderful. Don't worry about losing or winning.

What is winning? I think if life were a chess game, there would be no such thing as checkmate. Pieces are shuffled around the board until the game is lost on time.

"You are not here by mistake. Around the world and down through the ages there has never been another you, and there will never be another you..."
Makes me happy.

And I'll be standing here with someone new.
There will be other songs to sing, another fall, another spring,
But there will never be another you.
