That would be the cognitive side by the way, it can get eaten away by too much alcohol. I got lucky there, you seem to be having hard time with it.

Is chess left or right brain?

Playing chess activates the right side of the brain, which is responsible for creativity. As chess skills grow, so does one's ability to be creative.

So would it be fair to say you are not very creative?
