A friend of mine put together a quiz to see how good you really are with your states and capitals...

😀
that was in the capitals of states one. im about to do the other.
fred
and for the other one i got 20/50 = 40%
That's a nice little web site...
One way to make it even more challenging... instead of asking what the capital of a state is, and giving four actual state capitals as choices, it could give a choice of four cities, each of which is actually in that state...
Having gone almost all the way through High School prior to the creation of the Department of Education (under former President Jimmah Carter), I naturally got all 50 right on both quizzes... actually, I got a 49 on one of them... I clicked on an answer, and didn't think that the web site recognized the click, so I clicked again....only the web site did recognize it, and took the second attempted click to be my answer to the following question, which was incorrect...but I would've got em all if I'd just waited another second or two on that one... so I gave myself an imaginary score of 100%, but my real score on both quizzes combined, was 99%.
This 'incident' with my mouse reminded me of a chess match I read about recently (in Andrew Soltis' column)... there was an online match being played between two countries (I think one may have been France, I'm not sure)... anyway, a player from one of the teams was making a move with a rook when his finger slipped off of the mouse button, and the rook was placed on the square over which it was being dragged at the time... this left the rook en-prise, and that slip of the finger lost the game for that side...
gotta watch them mice... they'll get ya every time!
But it is a very nice web site...very well done! Wish I could put a site together like that!

Thats cool Jim. So do you live in El Paso by choice? It must be a great place or that where your family base is?

Will visit the states once before I die and sort of enjoy making a short list for study.
