Take it to "only chess" spanky.

There are ISSUES we need to deal with here.
Serious ISSUES about the rights of retards and the right to express oneself. About justice and tolerance, about life and understanding.

About RESPECT.

Now * off.

Smaug. Even though you have mate in one. White can still move his king to h6. How do they declare the game won?

The player resigned knowing that the next Rook move is mate. The king blocks any escape from the pit.

P-

40. Kh6 Rh4#

Seems the other rook can deliver the mate at h5 as well.

One time I was drinking at the bar and I was talking to this guy in a wheelchair (motorcylce accident) who knew my brother. He refered to me being a piece of garbage and a nobody for no good reason. So I told him, "You know what? I don't care what you say or call me. I can walk out of here!"

Didn't go over as well as you might expect.

I haven't read all of this thread but why are people taking stabs @ others at all, let alone those who have had hard enough lives. This world is such a miserable place because people are ignorant and selfish. The change has to start somewhere...

That's right. Get the hell out of the wheelchair and go for a walk.

I've been going to hockey games since 1972 [yup, before I could walk I was a hockey fan :-) ]

Well, one year I got a chance to see a game in Detroit. The Red Wings against my home team the Vancouver Canucks. Our seats were great, just at the top of the first section, mid ice and just below the handicapped ...[text shortened]... y Bob Arrakis. Great guy.
I've never taken crap from the handicapped since...
Wow. This thread is just so wrong. I mean, it's one thing to fabricate fights with disabled people (not funny, btw) but you're obviously plagarizing a story Arrakis posted some time ago about his kindness to a handicapped person.

Thread 41967

This is a chess site after all, and Arrakis is a Chess Magazine Editor.

Show a little respect!

Au contraire, it is very funny.

I think parody is the word we're looking for here, not plagiarism.

I'm shocked at such an accusation! Arrakis is a legend on RHP, a sage old man of wisdom and kindness. Plus, from what I hear, dedicated to Chess... I understand that he's recently had is balls replaced with a couple of Queens...
