I also agree with the statement above about dogs needing purpose. They need it. They want it. It is in the makeup. They are of the pack mentality and you, as the "master" are supposed to be the alpha pack member and let them know what is right and wrong and give them structure. Give them exercise, discipline and structure. Give them affection too...
