This thread was inspired by Kewpie's comment that nice people had no place to post anymore.

It opened with some friendly thoughts, but I knew it was only a matter of time before a jackass like you would come along and spoil it with constant quibbling and whining.

The nice people lose again.

I'm shocked that I've been able to post in this thread on a Friday.

I really thought I was only nice on a Thursday. (Between 9:30am and 8pm).

It's Friday. I'm feeling kind of sweet.
(Not dainty though!)

Sometimes being nice is just too difficult. 😼

A note on word usage: except for a certain poster on this site, I haven't heard the word "silly" used by a grownup since about 1960. I think it's nowadays quite meaningless. What's silly to one person is quite rational to another. What's it mean anyway? Unintelligent? Wilful? Aberrant?

the dictionary definition is prolly close to the way rustbucket uses it...
however,
rusty uses it as a blanket criticism of other's thoughts...

which, by definition, is silly...

Sensible then...?

This thread is for nice people only. If you aren't nice, stay away!
Like that old song 'the Squid Jigging Ground,
If you get cranky without your pink hanky, you better steer clear of the squid jigging ground....
