Do act like an over-entitled jerk if you've been visiting this site for longer than most and are not receiving the accolades that you feel you've earned.

Beware of those who feel that they can make rules regarding your posting or assert that you owe them answers.

Remember that you do not need to respond to posters' false assertions about you as they will already be well known for making false assertions.

Do seize upon little errors and typos made by others whenever possible. It'll make you feel brilliant and reveal your superior education.

too many dos and don'ts here.

If a poster gets (example) 5 [down-thumbs] automod suspends said poster from forums for three days.

21. Please don't characterize disagreement as being an attempt to silence others. Post as you see fit. Accept that people might be unimpressed with you just as they might be unimpressed by you.

24. Don't hold up "unity" as an ideal, if you'll forgive me for saying so. It's a hiding to nothing. And there are some people with whom we perhaps have no business entering into "unity" ~ and neither side of that divide should do anything other than be true to themselves.

Way to pollute drewnogal's thread.

What a waste of potential.

27. Try not to share things divulged or discussed during in-game chats when playing chess unless there is agreement to do so.

Add some of your own. We're up to No.27. There is great variety and much of it is wise advice. You'd probably come up with some good ones.
