1. Don't alert posts with the intent of getting them deleted only because you disagree with the opinion being expressed.

5. Say "good riddance" when someone says they are leaving. Feel free to say it every time they say they are leaving.

6. When a forum poster gets ill out there in the real world and it brings an end to their contributions, don't blame other posters for whatever illness they have been stricken with and certainly don't suggest that forum posts might be contributing to their imminent death.*

* Unless your banter is endorsed by a qualified member of that poster's medical care team.

7. Generally speaking, don't publish the contents of PMs on the forums but if you receive a threatening or abusive PM, no matter how ludicrous the case is, there is no onus on you to keep that poster's threats or abuse secret. Feel free to just forward it to whomsoever you want.

8. It is probably not a good idea to share any of your creative work with somebody you've met in the GF as they might not treat it with respect.

9. No matter how bent out of shape you get in conversations on this online message board, never try to take revenge on another poster in their 'real life', no matter how paranoid, puerile and vindictive you are. Don't contact their employers or their clients or people they know or work with, or organizations or groups they are members of. It doesn't matter how much you feel rubbed up the wrong way.

10. Don't mess with the Ghost. (See point #9).

12. Don't chase people from thread to thread and from forum to forum accusing them, for a laugh, of something like being a paedophile ~ no matter how funny you think it is. If you think someone is paedophile approaching minors in chess matches, tell the owners of the website.

14. Don't be like what Romans1009 was like; I can't be bothered to go into the details. Just don't do it. Please.
