Up in the air on weather or not to get a double bass pedal. Lord knows I don't "need" one, but I do like drumming for exercise.

It's pretty hard to play metal drums without double bassing.

I don't play metal. I mess with odd times in a crap jazz sorta way. But when I feel frisky I want to try messing with some rudiments on the bass. I don't like the bass floor tom combo. Like I said drumming is for fn around. I got other instruments for music in a pseudo serious way. Drumming is for burning calories because I refuse to drink light beer!

There's nothing better than a drummer who can go all-day double-kicking on a single pedal. Virtuoso guys like Zach Hill are infinitely cooler then just simple "fast" drummers like Lars Ulrich and the like. Single pedal, brother. That's where it's at.
