Ok, I have a new computer with a DVD burner. I'm looking for a good site from which to download movies. I'd like something legal, and perhaps something that's not. I'd like to start with something legal though, till I get the hang of it.

Anyone have any ideas? What do you recommend? What would you avoid? Any advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

I use shareaza.com

It's a p2p, and it seems quite fast....how legal it is, i don't know 😕

It might be slowing down my PC sometimes, so i don't know if it's all good.

I'd certainly avoid mikelom if it's not legal. Secondly, why would you want to avoid legality, in a chess conference website?

make sure your virus and firewall protection is up to date. And that may not help you. People upload the very latest virus's to music and film sites.

Amazon - legal. (newish) - http://tinyurl.com/n53xo

LimeWire, BitTorrent - maybe not legal. [who knows - who cares?)
