Hi all!

I just got my wings in support of Russ's decision to quit his job.I hope more people will follow my example and support this site.It is the best thing on the net and the subscription fee is really a joke.I have always been in favour of changing this to a pay site although I am aware of the owners sentiments.Just for the record,subscribing costs the same as two cases of beer in South Africa.......mmmmmmmm..........beer.............mmmmmmmmm........beer................

Crowley has invited me to join a clan already, so it depends on what their policy is on clan loyalty. If they don't mind then too right I will, it will be a fair dinkum ripper of a clan mate. A beauty, she'll be apples, bonza, true blue, corker of a clan in fact.

I'm in... i've been mooching as an origional PS for too long (actually, it's only been 1 year, but you know what I mean). So I'm subscribing too. As soon as I find my credid card, which I think I left on the kitchen table this morning...

yeah, i'll be getting my wings as soon as my dad gives me his card to use, i've even given him the mony for my first year but he is not giving me my wings :'(

Welcome to the club Johan! It's such good value that I subscribed when it was $29.95 for a year rather than $14.95... those of us that were to the first to subscribe at that price have been promised an extra year though 🙂

When did the site start the subscriptions, and how did you become an original PS before there were subscriptions?

Subscriptions started in October 2002.

The original pawnstars were players who made a one-off contribution to help the site the continue.
They can continue to play without paying any more but, as Dr Brain has just done, many of us have decided to subscribe anyway. The very first original pawnstar was Bessyboo who just beat me to it.
