Originally posted by MIODudeYes, it seems to mean that you have lost the whole army during battle, as far as I can see. It happened to me on turn 2 when I tried to invade a province. There were no armies left on the other side either, so I could simply take it over on the next turn.
oh, if you lose one during battle, its called disband? I was think disband was meaning i couldn't afford them or something

In my messages it said one of my armies was disbanded but it's still there now ... on the bottom of the map screen page it shows nothing in it, but when I right click the army in question, it shows half a dozen troops?!
Weird ... π

maybe its the garrison, and not the army??
My old army (A5) was disbanded at the end of last turn, I formed a new one an our ago which became the new A5 - for the first time I named an army -> A5 became A5 Heavy Infantry ... it's showing empty because the troops from the garrison have been transferred but aren't showing up yet ...
The only puzzle is that in my messages from the last turn, it has A5 - Heavy Infantry disbanded ... last turn A5 was not called Heavy Infantry ...
I'm confusing myself here! π
