There are several kinds:

* playing with words we were not allowed a children
* making fun of not so funny thread titles (sticky Sheets as opposed to sticky thread)
* stating the obvious
* ...

maybe this one is the dumbest thread yet, but I feel that a lot of Posters have something to add (either dumb or brilliant or even brilliantly dumb)

I don't understand how someone could want to talk about something when they don't want to listen. I guess that is in your third category.

Sticky sheets game was a play on words to make fun of the dumbest thread. That was genius. I should get a trophy.
