Any fans out there?
So I switched to Warhammer fantasy role-playing. A great game, but after 4 or 5 careers your character starts suffering from un-die-ability too.
Try TWAK: The World As Known Fantasy RPG.
Best magic system. Best combat system and characters can never become too strong.

You want to try playing Rolemaster, first edition not the recent stuff. My friends and I played AD&D for over 10 years and then we switched to Rolemaster. We have now been playing that for 9 years and I believe the magic and combat systems are superb. I have played a character now for 9 years straight and he is still vulnerable to a many against one combat like it should be.
Originally posted by shavixmirI had trouble with this too in AD&D as a Dungeon Master - I wanted to throw sensible opponents at the adventurers but they just got mashed. It's a bit silly having to fight dragons and beholders all the time.

I started playing Living Greyhawk a frew weeks ago....Wizards does care too much about money though. Look at the pricing of Mechwarrior and Heroclix packs, if anyone plays them.
Originally posted by D43M0NAre you saying us casters have a greed for gold? I ported players for free pluss I buffed them to the full in EverQuest. Ports go for twenty platinum each time. Spirit of Wolf is generaly free. There is nothing like logging on and spending the next three hours porting players. I never turned down a port request. I kept going dead link, so I canceled EverQuest. Angelique Wintersong thirtyfourth level Druid Woodelf.
