I drove through Kansas a couple of times.It was hot,dry,and windy.
I like the band alot more than the state,even though my relatives came from there.

I don't get it. You made a statement that the song Dust in the Wind was originally performed by Kentucky. All I did was say that it was done by the group Kansas. If I missed something then please tell me.

I knew it was done by Kansas. In fact, I've never even heard of a band called Kentucky, but I figured that by putting that somebody would correct me. I was using "verbal irony", even if it was a poor attempt.
