"hope springs" - the only film I couldn't physically force myself to get to the end of becasue it was that bad

I never got through "irreversible" either, but that was due to it being:
1) in French
2) filmed backwards in time
3) but mostly because it was sooo graphic! I can take mosts things, but that rape scene was far to harrowing. It shoudl be a shown to anyone who has any romantisied views on rape, which Hollywood often encourages.
