It will be in a few billion years that our sun swallows us, prior to the predispososed assumption that the Universe will start to collapse on itself in about 5 billion years. We will likely go before that, when OUR Sun eats us up.

GB. As for believing there is a Godly force that can intervene, I doubt it. Anyway, you won't be having time to varnish, let alone worry about the next few summers! The only thing you will need to worry about having varnished is.... .... wait...
