If this person had taken only a little more trouble, it would have been a great proposal!

Yo, Cribs, you absolutely made my day! Full marks to you!

Seriously, if I got an application exactly like the one you wrote, I would definitely call the "brotha" in for a chat. I would check him/her out to see if they could deliver the goods, and make a decision based on that.

All this goes to show that there are some things in life even more important than spelling, grammar and correct presentation. These include innovation, initiative, self-confidence and just plain chutzpah!

(PS: Where can I send the money?)🙂

Hey, Cribs

You state "I be stayin' wit a def girl..." - is that 'def' as in 'hey!' or 'def' as in 'eh?'. In my youth 'def' meant 'good'...perhaps this supports CalJust's point?

Dear me, such emotion, Cribs.

Homophones can cause confusion in spoken communication. Shouldn't be a problem when one writes correctly (at the risk of repeating myself, doesn't this support CalJust's point? Come on, Cribs - pay attention...).

Homonyms cause genuine confusion; hence the advisability of avoiding them. In this case, 'deaf' is preferable as it avoids unnecessary confusion. Because all of us want to be understood, don't we?

Real?

Fool, you ain't even be followin' yo' own advice! Don't use homonyms when you write? Please!

Look at what you wrote up in here:

can: yo, that be like a "can of pork 'n' beans", or like "Ivan think he can write good" ?

one: that be like "Benjamin be on tha one hundred dolla bill" or "one has to have a strong stable to be a good pimp" ?

support: "My momma don't support me. I pay my own bills!" or "I ain't payin' my child support no more" ?

point: "What's tha point of pimpin' if you ain't gettin paid" or "I be pointin' at that Lexus sayin' that's tha one I want" ?

You tellin' me suckaz can't be unnerstandin' you cuz you use these homonyms?
Better reconsider, fool!

Ya heard tha word.
