at times i play over some of the games from the top players as a form of trying to learn this game. at times i do struggle to follow what is going on... especially when they resign and i'm left scratching my head. what i like about some of the top players is you do notice a certain style and trying to incorporate it into my own game as much as this is possible.
Edmond Dantes was one of the players i enjoyed playing over those games. i enjoyed one where Edmond was playing David Tebb where David done a pretty cool sweeping move with his queen into Edmonds corner. i'm not to sure who won that game as it was still in progress.
To classify a cheat is something i know other people here would do a better job than myself so i would like to leave the accusations and punnishment to them, however as i was playing over Edmonds games he left and i dont really know why. On his profile he wrote something like ' i will never play at this chess site ever again'. did he/she get accused of cheating ?

Edmond Dantes was learned to be Ironman31, who was one of the first people booted for engine use. Made quite an uproar when it happened. People threw stones and I think Exy lit himself on fire while meditating.
did Edmond get accused and left and then ironman turns up cheating... hence the accusations against Edmond being ironman? is this where the learning was found ?

I believe Edmond "left" because he was timed out, but it's common knowledge now that Ironman was Edmond, it's sort of beyond just normal accusation.
if anyone is going to join in on a guilty verdict on Edmond being ironman then how about giving the accusations out here in the open to support the verdict. otherwise stop accusing this person.

As Edmond Dantes I recall him being very annoyed at being timed out by prawnsarmie and I think also by Fievel. So annoyed that he left the site. If there were cheating accusations at the time, they were not publically known. All this happened long before there were game moderators at RHP, so fear of being banned would not have been a factor in his decision.
