culture, isnt it that trick you do when you leave some food too long and it starts to develop a mind of its own? πŸ˜›

How else can one explain the sudden resurgence in popularity of "Tiny Dancer" except through parasitic culture conveyance and the unfortunate expertise of Cameron Crowe?

Now would someone please pass me a Ritz cracker, la creme de la creme of crackers?

Not my style, but I concede in saying he's a good musician.

La creme de la crack.

Elton John -- he had the pathos, he had the hat.
His hair dropped just like that.

Do you have a favorite song by him? Just curious.

Just his earlier stuff.

Classical / Bossa Nova / Fado and traditional music, and pretty much everything with an acoustic guitar or mandolin.

I used to like metal/grunge/alternative, too. In the right occasion I might just pull one of the old cds πŸ™‚
Won't turn down many different musics, but right now I'm just listening to stuff I want to learn to play.

Yeah, some people say he sounds better than he ever did right now, but I don't think that's true. All of the drugs and alcohol he did really messed up his voice. And he had throat surgery once or twice. He definitely sounded much better in his earlier days. And most of his legendary songs came from the 70's. So yeah, I see your point.

Elyon had some good tunes: High Flying Bird, Sartorial Eloquence, and Elderberry Wine would be my favorites.
