I think I know how to turn notifications OFF but how can I turn email off when someone accepts a game to play? I don't want these emails.

Don't think you can.

Just arrange for these emails from RHP to be sent to your junk folder so you never see them

Failing that, put an erroneous or obsolete email account address in so you don't receive them.

You probably tried the Email Settings under Mysettings?
