en passe

please explain to me how the en passe works on the computer ? does it automatically happen when i pass the other pawn ...and what pawn do I have to pass on what part of the board? sry if this seems stupid I just can't get it through my thick skull and easily remember it during the heat of battle. ty all, b.

No, it isn't automatic, the opponent has to choose to do the move or not, also you can only do the move straight away when you get the oppurtunity or not at all.
