Yeah, that "artificial deadline" has just become a real one now I have publically said it! Probably for the best. πŸ™‚

I've set the artificial deadline of February next year to get a TOTAL redesign complete. (That is 10 years of RHP, you see, but clearly the work would need to be complete well before then - including a lengthy beta.) This will be a very significant update.

This is not instead of new features, this is on top of much needed features. My time for development has been seriously limited just recently but I'm hoping for a very productive summer.
can you keep the "classic" versions around for the old folks πŸ™?

Consistency would be top of my list. The updates/features we do get are sporadic at best. Apart from that:

Rating Floors
- Stop all the sandbaggers, make entering banded tournaments worthwhile, and stop ringers in Clan matches.

Clan Scoring - As recently proved by the Clans at the top of the table, it's open to abuse and is purely abou ...[text shortened]... hind the site is poor which might explain why the site doesn't do too well in terms of SEO.
What languages will you use? PHP? more CSS? Javascript? SQL? I am studying web design (wife wants a site and I took up the gauntlet) So am curious.

Well, that's more of a question for Russ. He'd be doing the development work if those ideas were to be implicated on the site. I'd imagine that it all the functionality would be mainly done in PHP/MySQL and a bit of JSON and all the styling through HTML/CSS. You never know though, maybe we'll see a bit of CSS3 action from Russ!

How's your site going? You've mentioned it a few times and I'm always interested in seeing other people's work. PM me a link if you like!
