Rusty, you are right about boys going through terrible things too, and that often seems even more shameful to let others know about. There is no excuse and they too need our empathy.
They are quick to assume things. Both Men and Women, girls and boys, need empathy no one questions that.
It just seems the wealthy can get away with more. I for one don't think this is over or 23 years is long enough or will he ever do that much time. The lives of the women he has ruined cannot be changed. Same goes for boys/men who have been abused, some of them will never come out in public about it. Same as a lot of girls/women will never come out about it.
Something is wrong with the system when you have to go through it twice the second time in front of your molester and go over every detail of what has happened to you in front of room full of strangers.
