None of my cousins owns or works at a convenience store, although I myself worked at one for a year in my early 20s.

Black belts aren't 'revoked'. What are they gonna do, pull the knowledge and muscle memory out of your head?

I was, however, kicked out of my dojo, for having the bad taste of incorporating other styles into my personal technique.

Their Tao is not 'the way'.

It's possible to have your rank revoked. It happened to me. Stripped of rank list was on the wall of our dojang (Korean)
But it doesn't matter. Like you said, they can't remove what you know or your talent. And that dojang is long gone.

The first style I studied was TKD. It was an outlaw org called Rocky Mountain Tae Kwan Do. Ralph Kraus founded it when United TKD booted him out. RMTKD was too loose, for example the white belt champion was a.sandbagger. He studied for 12 years, was as good as most 3rd degrees. So I left it and studied Moo Duk Kwan for 5 years and also studied Lung Chuan for 15 years.
In my old age I can't move effectively for physical reasons. But my trigger finger is fine. My eyesight is really bad. Thank God for handguns that shoot shotgun shells. 😀

Is this Lung Chuan a type of Kung Fu? Sounds like it.

And I bet that gun has a kick like a mule, unless it has some kind of suppressor.

MDK is like a cross between Hapkido and TKD.
Lung Chuan is Gung Fu. It's a style similar to Shaolin dragon style. Lungchuan is a province in China.
The pistol has a pretty mean kick. It fires 45 long Colt ( not 45 acp) and also fires 410 shotgun shells.
