This is a question for anyone who knows how to use this cd copying program.

I triede to rip a CD with 'Exact Audio Copy', which i did, but it ripped as WAV uncompressed, and my media player doesn't recognise it as an album (just as unkown tracks, even though i collected all the songs in a folder).

Is there any way to solve these problems ?

Windows Media Player has a CD ripper built into it.

But i can't then share my music with other people, anytime i try to with media ripped music, the recipient cant open it without a licence of some sort.

I had the same problem... you should change your Mediaplayer configuration then (Extra - Options - Ripping, I can't give the right translation for I have a dutch version). πŸ™‚

Did you find the configuration for Ripping? There should be a box with a little green v next to secure music against copying, or something like that... change that πŸ™‚.

You'd have to do that before you rip the cd - unfortunately you can't remove copy protection from a file once it has been applied - well not in these options anyway.
You can try with other programs; ie fairuse4WM I think could do it.

edit; if you are using Vista it won't work.

Yeah, life must be good when you can watch all episodes of Python while you don't even like them at all πŸ˜€.
