Is it acceptable to pluck, or does that create a constant battle of having to pluck all the time?

Would scissors do a better job?

Or is it more masculine to go the Denis Healey route?

Damn you all to hell for forcing me to care about my appearance!
Burn them off with a lighter. Quick and pain free (unless you've moisturised with lighter fluid). Only drawback is a rather nasty smell, but it soon passes.

Fantastic, Jo. The summer's been absolutely lovely in Toronto. Not looking forward to the upcoming hibernation period, but what can you do? How's your new bundle?
