See, I TOLD you it wouldn't last. I enjoyed about a day in the 1500's,
but it only took one loss to drop me down to reality-land. A most
excellent game, I might add-- my hat is off to pradtf, who gave me a
schooling in endgame play AND was a gracious, sportsmanlike
opponent as well.
I'll be back up there... just wait.

Tony, I think it might be about time you and I played a game-- I'm
hoping to eventually get to all of the regular posters on the forum,
since the "social" aspect is such a big part of why I love this site. If
you're up for it, start it up-- you pick your color.

Thanks, boss. I know it's a temporary situation-- I think there's a
little mental struggle going on between the way I'm accustomed to
playing, and the way I'm TRYING to play. (My old way was trade
pieces whenever the opportunity arose, hope for a mistake by my
opponent, or just out-calculate them in the endgame). Now, I'm
trying to actually SEE the position, and evaluate it. Can't always tell
that from my play, but that's where I'm heading.
