You are actually making the same point that I was making: He didn't get banned for messing with the off-site radio station as has been suggested many times.
He got booted for something else. While your new theory has more credibility than the old, I don't know why he got booted for sure.
And yes, I miss 7ate9 and his honesty. But not because of the Happy Thread. I don't recall him ever saying anything in the Happy Thread.
