favorite car

What’s the favorite car you’ve ever owned? I’ve gotten all practical in my middle (old?) age, and found myself driving something that gets the job done, but is completely boring. So boring I won’t bother telling you what.

I bought a 1964 Triumph TR4 back in 1976 that I would give my left nut to have back now. Of course I would have to find the jar that they are in (my wife hid them) and then try to determine which one was the left one… but I digress. It was silver, the car not my nut, with spoke wheels, walnut dash…. Ahhh the memories.

Jet black Mitsubishi FTO. Wanted a GTO but couldn't afford the insurance and fuel consumption costs on my low wage. Had to sell it cos I lost my job :'(😞

Mine was a 1965 Mk1 Ford Cortina 1500GT. Had a lot done to it too. Fat wheels on the back and skinny`s on the front, close ratio gearbox, and a low geared diff from another model, so it was pretty quick. Too quick for my friend though, he rolled into a bunch of trees 🙄

I owned only one and i still own it! My ES 300, 2001 model. I love that car more than anything in this world! (Even more than my dad's mercedes) it's my second home 😀
If my dad wants to sell it and gets me a better car i will never agree until it gets too old, i had lots of memories in this car. 😉
