It was simply called "du pays", "from the country". It tasted different every time, and always a lot more interesting than any cheese you can buy at the supermarket.
I don't eat sausage, but if I would, I'd probably prefer sausage made out of hot smoking sasquatch meat.

I didn't litereally mean sexless either. I just couldn't think of any other way to term it at the moment.
