Okay, I haven't seen much of Voyager, but what I have seen and heard about it sounded much worse than TNG.

Voyager is clearly superior to Next Generation. More original, definitely more depth and extremely hilerious sometimes as well as heartbreaking acting. I mean, Neelix in that episode where he meets the man responsible for the death of his entire family. Heartbreaking. :'(

And the episode where the Doctor is supposed to act captain for the first time with his photonic canon. Absolutely hilerious. Has me rolling on the floor. 😵
