The post that was quoted here has been removedIt's entirely individual imho, SOME men are awful with SOME of the tasks that women excel at, and vice versa. We're both fundamentally the same, 'moods' or the temporary presence \ absence of, or indeed a more elevated level of certain chemicals in the brain, is a major reason why some 'people' insist there is an obvious difference between the sexes. For instance, men might generally believe that women make for poor drivers, or cannot park their cars etc, but in fact there are just as many men that have the same 'standard', whatever that might be...men are just more inclined to 'believe' they're more adept than they plainly are...perhaps women just have a fairer interpretation as to their own skills \ limitations, whereas a man is just more inclined to accept and far more so to DENY their own... 😀
The post that was quoted here has been removedI think the differing thought processes of men and women are governed more by hormones
(e.g., testosterone, estrogen) than by relative brain size. Brain chemistry changes with age,
and that could account for the changing cognitive skills of men and women growing older.
In our house the male is the one who can't tell left from right and needs to turn every map around to figure out directions. The same male is the one who can deconstruct a computer or washing machine to diagnose and resolve an intermittent problem. Everyone fits all of the stereotypes some of the time.
People differ so much. I get bored listening to women's conversations. They want to talk about other women all the time. I hate gossip. I would much rather listen to men talk about the weather, how the crops are growing, politics, etc. I talk better when I am sending messages. In real life, I tend to listen more.

Male (husband):"Sweetheart he's 32 years old, hasn't held a job for more than 3 weeks, has $250 shoes, the newest cellphone."
Female: "He'll only be here for a wee bit"
Male: "OK but just for a bit"

I'm right here and this is a very interesting topic. If this had been a verbal discussion I wouldn't hesitate to participate. But it would take a long time and many words to describe what I have learnt in life - there are many things to consider.
