@handyandy saidSound like criminal loot.
Are you prepared for being arrested or shot for trespassing?
No doubt nomoreseitsechess will end up in the ditch with his ging-gangs sewn into his mouth.

Land deeds sounds like a good start.
I imagine it was buried in some container that would have some metal on it so I'll be using a metal detector. Even a gym bag has a metal zipper so I'm confident I'll find it. Then using a grid pattern I'll systematically search the 30 acres.
If that doesn't work I will have to drill down every square foot until I hit it which seems like a daunting taskπ

@divegeester saidI enjoyed it too.
That program is strangely compelling.
@wolfe63 saidWhere can I view it in it's entirety, BBC iPlayer?
I enjoyed it too.
It was well-written and directed.
The characters were just as interesting as the main story-line.
Depth and emotional honesty with just a twist of self-effacing humor.
@divegeester saidWrong. π

@nomorechess saidSo what kind of legitimate money is buried in a field belonging to someone else who you won’t approach directly. Chocolate coins?
Wrong. π
@nomorechess saidWrong? Come clear, then: which returned banned forum pest are you?
Wrong. π
@divegeester saidI said wrong because I won't end up in a ditch... obviously it's criminal money. The short story is a dealer knows the law is onto him so he hides some cash in case he needs to go on the run but ends up overdosing on his own supply. So the money is just waiting to be found. He worked for himself. No connections to any organized crime. A lot of dealers hide money. I just happened to hear about it from him but obviously he didn't tell me anything other than the province. This guy always had stacks of cash around. He was paranoid and buried some to be safe. Then he died. It happens more than you think with drug dealers. It's probably somewhere between $10,000 and $50,000 almost not worth the work in finding it.

Edit I can’t believe I’m even posting in this idiot thread.
@nomorechess saidThat's not your pic, nomore.
Probably saw my rugged good looks and got jealous. I knew it was a bad idea to post my pic in my profile. Stop the hate. Don't hate me cause you ain't me π
