Anyone seen this show? I rented the first three episodes at the video store the other day. Very good! It's kind of like Star Trek.
A+ show, and I am glad to see it back on air. I was one of about 9 users at Yahoo that cried when it went off the air a couple years or so back.
You can't top a sci-fi western... never!

Firefly for the win; I've had the boxset for the best part of since it came out. 😛 Saw it on TV one night, and bought the boxset. Wonderful viewing.

As for places with info on the show, I know http://broawncoats.com was a big fan site back when fans were trying to revive the show.
I dunno how useful it is, but sci-fi has an area of their website http://scifi.com/firefly
and a forum section
http://forums.scifi.com/index.php?s=26243d79fdfb9185852e0ef02f93a362&showforum=80
dedicated to the show.
I actually gave the show a pass after seeing the premiere years ago. What a mistake that was. I've since watched the DVD set of the first season and saw the movie in the theater. I hope they make more movies.
Firefly is fantastic; glad you discovered it, rb! And if the space scenes with their "steadycam" feel seem familiar to anyone who's watching the new Battlestar Galactica series, they should. The guys who do the space scenes in BSG cut their teeth doing Firefly.
As usual for a Joss Whedon show, dialog is king, and he does it really well.
It's a damn shame they canceled the show after 13 eps. The movie's pretty good, though, and it ties up the whole Reaver thing pretty well.
Those of you playing Halo 3 may notice that two actors from Firefly provide voice talent for several of the UNSC marines: Nathon Fillion and Adam Baldwin. In another BSG connection, Katie Sackhoff ("Starbuck"😉 also provides the voice for one of the female marines.
Favorite FF episode: the one where they visit the mud town and Jayne is a folk hero.
He robbed from the rich and he gave to the poor
He stood up to the man and he gave him what for
Our love for him now ain't hard to explain
The hero of Canton, the man they call Jane
