I don't notice any difference in general, but there are some themes and extensions that you can only use in 2.

read all about it:

http://en.www.mozilla.com/en/firefox/features.html#experience

Subtle, but noticeable differences on the occasions they kick in.

Important Edit - Using Live titles you should have a nifty way of seeing if you've got any new games waiting - updated live - simply drag the "# games waiting url" from the page (top right by "log out"😉 onto the Live Title bar (i.e. the one between the URL bar and the Tabs - with the "get started" and RSS "Latest Headlines" pre-installed on the default browser).

Note - I've got it up there but not moving in any games right now so unable to see it change!

The major change was support for windows vista. Version 1 still works on vista, but Firefox 2 just meshes a bit better with the system.
Also, many of the more popular optional extensions in version 1 come as standard in version 2. But if you're running an earlier version of windows, and are happy with the extensions you've got, there's no difference.
I've found a few of my extensions don't work with the new version, but firefox keeps checking for updates to them and they're being upgraded slowly. If there is an extension you can't browse without though, check it's compatibility with version 2 before upgrading.

It's an upgrade - there's no reason not to get it. There are good reasons, as mentioned already, to get it.

The crack is good in Cricklewood. 🙂

just learning more about it, it'd need a small widget developed for the site to get it working properly - info here:

? I have a widget or RSS or something at the bottom of my monitor (next to greasemonkey and adblock) that tells me how many games I have waiting. When I click on it I go straight to rhp and the waiting games.
