You mean there are people out there who actually still visit a Yahoo site?!

I've had FF3 for a couple of weeks and apart from the cool things, the major difference for me is in its memory usage. It's way, way better. They say they've fixed the download manager but they haven't, so stick with a 3rd party download manager. I use DAP.

There's an Easter Egg too. Enter about:robots in the address field. Obviously some fans of Douglas Adams.

I still use Yahoo Pipes to steal people's RSS feeds.

Yep, I use as my home page, simply as it combines an adequate search function, and somewhat limited, but still cool news section, if there was anything important I'd know to look it up at the BBC news site or such.

Hmm, I checked out pipes pretty quickly, a few months ago.

It works cool? How do you use it exactly?

It's my understand that you can simply click the scroll button on a mouse, on the 'home' icon, or such, and it would quickly open a new tab.

Add ons, (which work with firefox 3):
Download statusbar
Greasemonkey
Image zoom
Resizable textarea
Searchbar autosizer

Seemingingly non-working but still cool add ons:
TinyUrl creator
Linkification
(damn, I hope they update these)
Mouse gestures
Fasterfox
Adblock plus
There's a beta version of Linkification that works:

It's hard to explain without going into a dull, long-winded speech about it but basically, it's like a funnel for information.

You find a few RSS feeds, XML feeds and webpages that contain info you want, chuck them all through a series of filters to sort and extract the data you're after and then output it as an XML feed.

Personally, I use it (and a bit of PHP) to create self-updating news feeds for sites.

Here's an add-on that works perfectly with v3, and should be obligatory:

US Department of Homeland Insecurity Idiocy Level

Thank you, I was going crazy without that.

I'm using Firefox 3 since beta 2. It's fine but I have just one problem: Using Greasemonkey and RHP Check Mate it's not possible to submit a move! I just can't press the button, neither with the mouse nor with the keyboard. Disabling Greasemonkey and immediately everything is ok.
Does anybody see this problem?

A little information I might put in: I'm using a real OS (Linux)!

I have the same problem with version 2 with some moves. It's weird, but it must surely be one of the add-ons misbehaving - I just haven't had the time to check it.
I just quickly switch with IE View and make my move.

I think I had a similar problem with the 'game score' one, I've since uninstalled it, whichever one it was, and it's working well now.

That's a good hint. I just went to the download page and found "SCRIPT IS BROKEN AND SHOULD NOT BE USED" on the Game Score! I'll try this when I'm back home.

Thanks

Rofl, that wasn't there when I last checked!
