How exciting!
I remember my first days as a new year started...Seeing all the people I hadn't seen for weeks which seemed like months back then. Catching up with each other, checking out who'd had great holidays and if anyone had picked up a boy/girl friend.
Back then everything seemed so pointless. Teachers bored me and we made skipping school an art form. When I was younger there were no dangers in the world.
We would kick the garbage cans and when the wasps flew out we'd clap them to death. Now I run like hell.
We'd skip school and go and lay on the beach. Now I feel guilty if I'm off work sick.
We would rip up exams in front of teachers and storm out of the classroom calling everyone names. Now I waste free time writing papers that make other people richer than me.
I'm gonna have to listen to "Slip slidin' away" by Paul Simon now.

Today I had to start 7th grade. Its was awful!!! :'(
First I saw Adam and tried to talk to him but he totally ignored me.
Then I went to home room and found out my teacher also slaughters cows in his spare time.
Next I had technology and all we're going to do this year is key boarding! I've been doing that since 1st grade!

All in all the first day of school rated on a 1 to 10 scale was -349. :'(
I think you can make the best of these crazy teachers, and even teach them a lesson or two, which somehow I think you are quite capable of doing!
As for adam, he probably doesn't want to adamit that he was probably having just as bad a day as you...give him some time and he may come around--if not, well... there is always us at RHP waiting to laugh with you! 😀
