Warning Long and Probly boring😉
After about three or four months of looking for a job I finely have fond one (and a very good one at that) so far I had applyed at many places including (but not limited to):
Walmart
Toys R Us
McDonalds
Burger King
Wendys
Chick Fil A
Finish Line
E/B Games
Gap
Hat World
Then comes something bright on the horizen for me, a Target in my area is opening, and they needed a full staff for there new location, well I go and apply and when I hand in the application they said that the next day they where having massive interviews and if I came early that I would have a great shot a getting hired, so we go and get there about an hour before the place opens (for interviews) and there was already a few people there but not many, so after I wait and they call my name for the interview I go in they asked a few questions ands its over, alot easier then I thought it would be and they sort of hinted at me having a good chance and that I would be notified in about a week wether or not I was hired.
Well after about a week I got a card from Target that said they didnt have a place for me.
and after this I was kind of depressed thinking that I was never gona get a job.
Well after a few weeks we go to Disney World and while we were there we were joking about working for Disney and after a while I thought, well why not a least try, so on the way bake I go there and setup a meeting (there you need to setup a meeting to get your application) and a week later we go there I fill it out and turn it in and they told me to have a seat and I would be called for an interview shortly.
I have the interview and during the interview I think I did a good job but the person giving the inerview made it sound like there wernt and openings, but a few minutes and some mouse clicks away she said Ok, you will stationed at Typhoon Lagoon in Merchindise (for thouse that dont know Typhoon Lagoon is one of Disneys 2 waterparks)
I try to keep my jaw from falling as I never ever expected to actuly get a job a Disney World.
the next week I had to go to a training course, and I was thinking on the way there its probly a 3 - or - 4 hour training course, no problem, when I get there they give me my little Disney name tag that says 'Adam' on it and told me to tell my dad to pick me up at 5 o'clock pm well it was almost 9 am then so I was thinking an 8 hour course, jeesh thats a loong time.
after I get in though time went by pretty fast learned alot and finely 5 came and I went home.
That was last Saturday, I found out that I'm having few more training courses of the next few weeks (not as long though) and it will be about 3 - 4 weeks before I actuly do any work.
not that anyone else should care about the whole thing but I was just so happy about getting a job at Disney I felt like writeing this, by now my fingers are tired and you proby wasted about 5 minutes of your life, but thats just my getting back at you for the 8 hours i spent in training.

Adam, is this in Orlando or California ?
If so, make sure they never put you in the Rakishi Birds show. I think that was singlehandedly the worst Disney attraction.
Its one of those shows where people actually walk out after about 10 minutes... I dont know what they were thinking.
Anyway, funny story. Have fun.

some people have all the luck *rolls eyes*
satarday was ANOTHER day around glasgow handing in CV's to random shops that don't really care but claim they do, and today was a bus trip into springburn (think of brooklyn or some other tough place...just not so tough...) for an interview at a home for kids with special needs. i have experience in this field! so i have a decent chance of getting the job (releif worker😉), and there's a distinct chortage of teenageers, especially male, there, and as most of the kids are teenageers-go figure...however, i need my name checked to find out if i'm a pedo, and i've gotta fill in an applicataion form, be interviewed by the guy there again, my references have to be sent away etc. so i won't be able to work until june or so. 😞 uni starts in september and i need money for it, dammit! but alas. i got ANTOEHR letter of rejection today. i even had to spend £1.20 on it cause the guy forgot to put a stamp on it...*rolls eyes*
erm-anyone in the glasgow area needing a teenager to do whatnot and get paid? please? 🙁
