First night out in over a year!

...and I ordered the lame ass fish and chips πŸ˜†
Tasty as usual but I should have ordered a steak...

I live near a huge city so our lock downs were severe and extra.
I imagine we will be locked down again in a few days πŸ˜”

@Very-Musty

I'd have gone for lobster and champagne. No half measures.

Are you British? I thought the Fish and Chips were good.
Is that Sunday Roast still popular.
I remember having pub lunches / roast - both cheap and delicious.

Down in the islands here lobster and shrimp is pretty commonplace
My choices post Covid dinner would be -
a 24 oz Porterhouse Steak or Ribeye - Medium
a huge buttery baked potato
a few good brews / or merlot during the meal
a few aged rums after dinner
No starters and no dessert.

I used to eat like that all of the time in Boston but that was over ten years ago.
I love lobster πŸ€— and champagne.

I'm Canadian with German/Scottish parents.

It basically means I drink a lot... mostly beer.

I encourage all trump supporters to follow the eating habits of their odorous leader followed by a glass of bleach
